After both Jungkook and Mingyu labels issued a statement confirming that the Dispatch report was true, ASTRO Cha Eun Woo’s label followed with a statement afterwards.

On May 18, Fantagio issued a statement apologizing for the incident, they stated that after confirming with Cha Eun Woo, it was true that he visited Itaewon with his friends but did not go to the problematic place where there was a confirmed patient, they apologized for neglecting their artists and not practicing social distancing measures correctly.

“Cha Eun Woo did not go to the place where the confirmed case occurred in early May,”

They also added that he took a test and the results came out negative,

“Regardless of the reason, it was imprudent of Cha Eun Woo, an artist belonging to the group, to visit near Itaewon at a time when all Koreans are practicing social distance; he deeply regrets that he has not made sincere efforts to keep the social distance measures.”

They also promised to manage their artists better and ensure that such a thing never happens again; they ended their statement apologizing once again.
