Singer alexa has signed a local management contract in the us.

on april 6th, alexa’s agency, gb label, announced, “alexa recently signed an american management contract with intertwine music, an american music label.” intertwine music is a music label led by ceo eshy gazit, who laid the foundation for success by taking charge of local management for bts and monsta x.

alexa wrote a new history of k-pop by winning the nbc large-scale contest program “american song contest” in the united states in may of last year and has been active globally, performing at major league and nba halftime performances. in addition, by signing a contract with gazit, who played a major role in bts’ worldwide success, they gained momentum in their global activities.

gazit is also related to k-pop. in charge of managing bts’ american activities from 2016 to 2018, he played a big role in laying the groundwork for bts to become the world’s best group. he introduced k-pop to the united states by managing bts, as well as monsta x and tiffany young (girls’ generation).

gb label is a music label founded by music video master johnny bros. gb label ceo kim joon hong said, “based on his already excellent achievements in the u.s. markets such as bts and monsta x, I am looking forward to how american k-pop artist alexa’s localization strategy will create a new history of the k-pop market.” he said.

alexa debuted in october 2019 with the single ‘night’. after winning the ‘american song contest’ last year, she released her 3rd mini-album ‘girls on vogue’ in november of that year. in february, she released ‘mbti’, a collaboration song with the group justb.
