The group aespa has held its press conference for its latest release and discussed various aspects of the comeback and answered various questions including some about HYBE and NewJeans.

aespa showcases their distinct group color once again with their double title track “Super Nova” and their other title track “Armaggedon”, along with a total of 10 songs in their first full album. A media showcase was held at the Blue Square MasterCard Hall in Hannam-dong, Seoul to commemorate this event.

This album is aespa’s first full album in 4 years since their debut. With pre-orders exceeding 1.02 million copies, it is expected to achieve million-seller status for the fourth consecutive time, following their previous works “Girls,” “My World,” and “Drama,” showcasing aespa’s powerful presence once again.

Ahead of this comeback, aespa was revealed to have been mentioned by HYBE’s Bang Shi Hyuk who said in leaked messages to Min Hee Jin,“can you step on aespa,” which sparked unexpected controversy.

Regarding this, Karina said, “Recently, we exchanged hearts in the waiting room with NewJeans. We told each other ‘I love you.’ We get along well as good colleagues with no concerns as you might worry. We just want to focus on our activities. We believe that the love from the public comes from our hard work.”

Ningning also added, “Rather than seeing it as competition, I think each group has its own color and charm, making them incomparable and irreplaceable.”
