As of July 17 local time, Billboard officially announced that aespa’s new mini album “Girls” had debuted at No. 3 on its famous Top 200 Albums chart, the chart that ranks the most popular albums in the U.S.
aespa now holds the record for the fastest female K-pop act to enter the top 3 of the Billboard 200, they managed to achieve this feat in less than two years after their debut. “Girls” is also only the 3rd kpop girl group album to chart in the top 3 of the Billboard 200.
aespa is also the fastest female K-pop act in history to chart two albums in the top 20 of the Billboard 200 and the fastest K-pop girl group in history to top the Top Album Sales chart with “Girls” debuting at NO. 1.
