Following the tragic news of comedian Park Ji Sun and her mother’s tragic sudden passing, police have shared a new update with news outlets hinting at the possibility that the comedian and her mother took their own lives.

Park Ji Sun and her mother were found deceased at her home earlier today after the father had called police to check up on them because he hadn’t been able to get in contact with them.

It was stated that Park Ji Sun was getting treated for an unspecified illness and that her mother had come to Seoul to look after her.

Police had previously stated that no signs of intrusion or any physical wounds were found, but the exact cause of death was still getting investigated.

In a new update, police stated they have found a note believed to be written by her mother at their house while investigating. Police stated that details of the note will not be disclosed according to the wishes of the bereaved families

Park Ji Sun was only 35 years old and is known among Kpop fans for hosting many events (including press conferences) for popular groups such as EXO and NCT to name a few. The industry is shocked following the news of her tragic passing.

As a result of the tragic news, GFRIEND canceled their ‘Weekly Idol’ live broadcast. Various comedians and TV personalities are mourning Park Ji Sun’s death.
