A Man Pretends To Be BLACKPINK’s Jennie Father Aiming To Publish A Tell-All Book, Jennie To File Lawsuit
BLACKPINK‘s Jennie has drawn her sword against illegal publications and fake news containing false information impersonating her father.
On the 6th of September, Jennie’s agency, OA Entertainment, stated, ‘Recently, illegal publications and fake news containing false information impersonating the artist’s father have been continuously spread,’ and added, ‘This is clearly false information and has nothing to do with the artist.’
Furthermore, OA Entertainment warned, ‘Please be cautious of purchasing illegal publications, and take special care not to be harmed by this. We are taking legal action against the distributor through a law firm, citing defamation by spreading false information and obstruction of business.’
Lastly, OA Entertainment emphasized, ‘We are taking legal action against those who spread false information, defamation, sexual harassment, and malicious slander targeting the artist. Since this kind of act is a clear crime, we will continue to take strong legal measures without leniency based on the collected evidence.’
Recently, a post claiming that Jennie’s biological father published an AI novel based on real-life events from her trainee days to the present as a BLACKPINK member has been spreading online.
