A Former Idol-Turned Broadcasting Streamer Arrested For Drug Use At His Own Home

A Former Idol-Turned Broadcasting Streamer [hereafter A] has been arrested for drug use.

According to various reports on November 4, the Nowon Police Station told news outlets A has been arrested at his home in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on the charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

The reports suggest the former idol member was charged with using an illegal methamphetamine.

According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of administering methamphetamine with his acquaintances in mid-September. At the time of the arrest, it was reported that a plastic bag presumed to contain methamphetamine was found in Mr. A’s house. Police has also reportedly requested analysis of the bag.

According to reports, A is a member of an idol group that debuted in 2012. One report says ge retired from being an idol after his group disbanded and is now working as a BJ or streamer. While other reports suggest he re-debuted as an idol in 2017 after leaving his group whom he debuted with in 2012.
