A 40-Year-Old Celebrity Assaults Citizen For Reporting His Drunk Driving
A 40-year-old male celebrity, identified as A, has been investigated by the police for assaulting a citizen after reporting his own drunk driving.
On the 9th of July, Seoul Seongdong Police Station booked the male celebrity A on charges of assault and conducted an investigation.
A is accused of drunk driving for approximately 3 kilometers from a restaurant in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, to his residence in Seongdong-gu, after drinking alcohol around 3:40 am on the 2nd of July. When the police arrived after receiving a report, A’s breathalyzer test confirmed a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit (0.08% or higher) for driver’s license suspension.
Furthermore, it has been reported that A is also under investigation for assault, as there was a conflict with the reporters. The police will first proceed with the drunk driving charges against A and then investigate the assault allegations by gathering statements from the victim and A to verify the facts.
