2PM‘s Taecyeon has joined U. S. agency WME which is home to famous Hollywood stars Tom Holland, Mathew McConaughey and more.
On February 27, his agency 51K announced that he has signed a contract with U.S. agency WME (William Morris Endeavor).
Through his agency, Taecyeon said, “I’m excited and happy to have a new challenge. I discussed this a lot with my local agency. It’s not easy to challenge new things in an unfamiliar environment, but I think it’s a learning opportunity. I will try to show another side and new charm on this big stage.”
WME is an agency that includes Quentin Tarantino, Ridley Scott, Matthew McConaughey, Tom Holland, Michael B Jordan, Park Chan Wook, Bong Joon Ho, and actor Bae Doona, and serves as an agent for content creators covering books, digital media, movies, broadcasts, and performances.
Meanwhile, Taecyeon will attend the “2023 Suit Walk” event in Taiwan on March 11 as a representative of Korea and will appear in the KBS2 drama “My Heart Beats,” which will air in the first half of the year.
