2AM Seulong has been belatedly revealed to be involved in a fatal car accident that resulted in the death of a pedestrian who was jaywalking.

2AM Seulong’s Agency has returned with an official statement regarding the accident that involves Seulong.
Here is their statement:
“Hello. This is Jellyfish Entertainment.
This is our statement on the car accident involving Im Seulong.
First of all, we’d like to extend our deepest condolences to the victim of the fatal accident, may his soul rest in peace.
On August 1, Im Seulong was driving his car when the accident in the rain occurred. A collision happened with a pedestrian who was crossing the road. Right after the accident, he immediately took emergency measures on-site, but the victim, unfortunately, passed away while he was being taken to the hospital.”
The agency also explains that he was questioned by police according to protocol, they’re unable to share more details since the investigation is still ongoing.
In their closing remarks, the agency once again apologized for causing pain to the victim’s family and apologized to the fans for causing concern.
According to the police statement in another report, the pedestrian crossed a red light; police assured that Seolong was not driving under the influence.

According to reports on August 4, Seulong was involved in a car accident at night in Seoul on the 1st of August; the conditions of the road were bad due to the heavy rain, the road was slick. He accidentally hit a pedestrian who had been jaywalking. The pedestrian died on the spot.
Seulong was also investigated by police for a period at the incident location and was later sent home, the police told news outlets that the case is still getting investigated.
It is said that Seulong is extremely shocked by the tragic accident.
