NCT Lucas will not be going back to China as previously scheduled.
NCT Lucas has been recently under fire after being accused by multiple women of gaslighting and cheating, since then, he’s released an apology letter admitting to his wrongdoings. SM has also issued an apology for not managing their artist properly, Lucas said he’d be taking a hiatus and some time off to reflect.
Through various Korean news outlets, it was reported that Lucas was scheduled to return to China on September 10 to carry out his activities. However, his flight has now been officially canceled.
Not only that but WayV’s activities that were scheduled for October in China have been put on hold. It is unknown whether the pause in promotional activities is somewhat related to Lucas’s controversy or not.
This is added to the cancellation of Lucas and Hendery’s unit single that was set to drop a couple of weeks ago.
