Twitter Korea has surprised fans with a list of the most-tweeted-about kdramas of the first quarter of 2022.

The criteria to pick the dramas came down to how many people discussed them via live or real-time reactions using tweets in South Korea.

At No. 5 is the critically acclaimed drama “Juvenile Justice,” one of the first Netflix kdramas of 2022. As the name suggests, “Juvenile Justice” focuses on the Korean justice system applicable to juveniles and discusses the good and bad. The drama created a heated discussion about important social issues among users on Twitter.

4th place goes to “A Business Proposal,” one of the biggest hit kdramas domestically and overseas in 2022 thus far. Its led by Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Sejeong. Despite the drama having a simple plot, many believe its comedy and cast chemistry helped the drama become a massive hit.

3rd spot went to “Girls Highschool Mystery Class,” its a mystery type of series that focuses on covering suspicious events that happens in a high school. Many people believe the cast’s chemistry and teamwork made this series very enjoyable.

2nd spot went to tvN’s hit drama “Twenty Five, Twenty One,” the drama has found success domestically and overseas as well with its hashtag always topping Twitter trends when new episodes aired. The nostalgic relatability of the story as well as the cast chemistry were some of the biggest reasons behind the drama’s success.

And the No.1 spot goes to the hit KBS drama “Young Lady and Gentleman.” The drama was a massive success domestically recording a jaw-dropping 38% for its highest rated episode, a feat that is almost impossible for a kdrama to reach on TV these days.
