June 2022 is here and it comes with some of the biggest and most anticipated releases of the year thus far. Today, we’re taking a look at all the upcoming kdramas airing this June.

Plot: “Eve” is a melodrama that centers around the story of a chaebol’s 2-trillion-won (approximately $1.7 billion) divorce lawsuit that shocks the entire nation.
Seo Ye Ji is taking on the role of Lee Ra El, who was born between a genius father and a beautiful mother. Her father dies suddenly and powerful people were responsible for his death. She spends the next 13 years preparing for revenge and her target is Park Byung Eun. He plays the role of the CEO of the No. 1 corporate group [LY Group] in the financial world Kang Yoon Kyum. He is a faithful man to his family and worked without a single scandal, but he fell in love with Lee Ra El after meeting her.
Lee Sang Yeob is taking on the role of Seo Eun Pyung, a human rights lawyer who gives up everything for love once he meets Lee Ra El, he grew up in an orphanage and after witnessing the tragedy of Lee La-El and her family, he decided to become a person who holds power. He becomes the youngest member of the National Assembly. Yoo Sun plays Han So Ra, the only daughter of powerful politician Han Pan Ro who married into the LJ Group chaebol family. She’s beautiful and appears confident but is afraid of aging. She is Kang Yoon Gyum’s seemingly perfect wife.

Plot: “Dr. Lawyer” tells the story of a genius medical surgeon named Han Yi Han who loses everything after an unknown manipulation of his surgery. He returns as a medical lawyer. It also tells the story of a prosecutor from the medical crimes department who loses their family and lover through that surgery.
So Ji Sub plays the role of the genius surgeon who returned as a lawyer specializing in medical litigation. Because of an incident that happened four years ago, his medical license was revoked and that’s why he became a lawyer. He tries to find out the truth behind the reason for this mysterious incident. It notably marks So Ji Sub’s first drama in four years.

The story of these two people whose lives take a drastic turn of events when a wrong choice was made.
Seo Hyun Jin will play Oh Soo Jae, a lawyer who hides her pain with a cold face, she is a successful lawyer who is recognized by the others, she has a competitive spirit and she fears nothing in the world, she always aims for the success but that all changed why she makes the wrong choice who she believed was an opportunity for success. Hwang In Yeop will play Gong Chan, a law school student whose life is entirely changed when he fell in love with Oh Soo Jae. Although he looks like a normal young man who has lived a normal life, his painful past tells otherwise.

Plot: “Cleaning Up” tells the story of three women. Eo Yong Mi (Yum Jung Ah), An In-Kyung (Jeon So Min) and Maeng Soo-Ja (Kim Jae Hwa) work as cleaning ladies at a brokerage company. its a remake of the British television series of the same name, it will focus on the three cleaners who attempt to carve a new destiny for themselves after they accidentally overhear some key information about insider trading.

Plot: “Link” is a fantasy romance drama about a man who suddenly begins to feel all types of emotions experienced by an unknown woman when the link phenomenon happens again for the first time after 18 years.
Yeo Jin Goo is taking on the role of Eun Gye Hoon, a restaurant sous-chef whose life changes after he begins to experience all sorts of emotions of an unfamiliar woman. Moon Ga Young will be taking on the role of Jihwa Western Cuisine Restaurant’s probationary employee Noh Da Hyun. She claims she has no luck with men and struggles often with unfortunate events.

Plot: “Insider” is an action-suspense drama about a character named Kim Yo Han (Kang Ha Neul), a judicial trainee who experiences a crisis while working undercover for an investigation. This leads him to become a prisoner. He ends up struggling to obtain a hand of cards that could change his fate.
Lee Yoo Young will play Oh Soo Yeon, a businesswoman who has the power to control various interests by using her money and connections. While Heo Sung Tae will play Yoon Byung Woon, a powerful villain.
Kim Sang Ho will play Mok Jin Hyung, he is a field inspector who fights against the cartel and is also the reason Kim Yo Han turned into the ‘Insider.’ Moon Sung Geun will play Do Won Bong, he is a man who once shook the financial and political world. Kang Young Seok will take on the role of the young genius player Jang Sun Oh. And finally, Heo Dong Won will play Yang Joon, a mysterious man who is in charge of the other end of the cartel.

New Normal Zine

Plot: it tells the story of Cha Ji-Min (Jung Hye-Sung), she is a single woman who pursues a slow living lifestyle. She worked as a local news reporter for a current affairs magazine, but that magazine was shut down. After that, she begins to work as an editor for digital magazine “New Normal Zine” under the same parent company.
Her new boss is Chief Editor Song Ro-Ji (Hwang Seung-Un). Cha Ji-Min and Song Ro-Ji are familiar with each other since they began working for the same company the same year. Song Ro-Ji is a workaholic and the opposite of Cha Ji-Min. Cha Ji-Min tries to survive her new enviroment.

Jinxed at First

Plot: “Jinxed at First” tells the story of the cruel fated romance drama about a man who considers his unhappy life as his destiny and the one goddess who jumps out of her world in order to reverse that curse. The drama is based on the popular webtoon of the same name
Seohyun will play the role of Seul Bi, she has the mysterious ability to see the future of whoever she touches. She grew up locked in a secret room and one day escapes it and meets Gong Soo Kwang. Due to their encounter, she begins to develop dreams about the outside world.
Na In Woo is taking on the role of Gong Soo Kwang, a salesman at the fish market, who is under a special jinx. He lost everything after meeting Seul Bi seven years ago. His life drastically changes.

Alchemy of Souls
Cast: Lee Jae Wook, Jung So Min, NU’EST’s Minhyun, Shin Seung Ho, And More
Plot: “Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romance drama taking place in the fictional nation named Daeho, a country that doesn’t exist in history or maps. The story will follow a set of main characters whose fates get twisted due to magic that switches people’s souls. The drama’s title itself refers to the soul switch.
Lee Jae Wook is taking on the role of the sophisticated yet troublesome young master Jang Wook of the Jang family within Daeho nation. He’s a character that has a tragic background, the entire nation gossips about his shocking birth secret. He’s angry with the world but returns to the proper path after meeting assassin Mu Deok Yi.
Jung So Min will take on the role of Mu Deok Yi, a great assassin stuck in the world’s weakest body. She becomes Jang Wook’s attendant and secret mentor, she teaches him in a brutal manner.

Money Heist Part 1

Plot: “Money Heist” is based on the Spanish drama also known as “The House of Paper” (“La Casa de Papel”). It tells the story of people who gather to plan a heist on the Spanish crime drama is also known as “The House of Paper” (“La Casa de Papel”) and tells the story of a group of people who undertake a heist on the Royal Mint of Spain, led by a criminal mastermind called the Professor. The drama will take place in Korea.
Yoo Ji Tae will play the role of the Professor. Other cast members roles are as follows Park Hae Soo (Berlin), Jeon Jong Seo (Tokyo), Lee Hyun Woo (Rio), Lee Won Jong (Moscow), Kim Ji Hoon (Denver), Jang Yoon Joo (Nairobi), Kim Ji Hoon (Helsinki), and Lee Kyu Ho (Oslo).
There will be a second part to the series but its premiere date is yet to be confirmed by Netflix.

Plot: “Anna” was originally pictured as a movie and has now become an eight-episode series about a woman who starts off by telling a small lie and winds up living as someone else. Suzy will play Yoo Mi, the woman who lies and ends up living someone else’s life. She is married and her husband is Ji-Hun [played by Kim Joon Han], he is ambitious and goal-oriented. Yoo Mi is friends with Ji Won [Park Ye Young], she is the only one she fully trusts and relies on.
Meanwhile, a woman named Hyun Joo [played by Jung Eun Chae] enjoys her superior life without much consideration or malice intent toward others.

Ultimate Weapon Alice

Plot: It tells the story of Gyeo-Wool (Park Se-Wan), she is a mysterious transfer high school student and she is also a killer. At her new school, she meets a student named Yeo-Reum (Song Geon-Hee). he suffers from trauma, somehow, they wind up getting chased by a criminal organization.

Plot: “Café Minamdang” is a mystery-comedy about the events that unfold when a former profiler Nam Han Joon becomes a baksumudang (male shaman) and meets the violent crimes division’s team leader Han Jae Hee.
Seo In Guk is taking on the role of the fraudulent baksumudang Nam Han Joon, who is also a former profiler. He’s born into great fortune and has a handsome face, he’s considered the maverick of the shaman world. He uses his profiling skills to accurately guess what the customers want and resolve their problems. Oh Yeon Seo will be transforming to the violent crimes division’s team leader Han Jae Hee. A righteous woman, she’s quirky, sincere and doesn’t hold grudges. She doesn’t bow down to people with status and isn’t afraid of using her fist if something isn’t right.
