“Hwayugi” is one of the most popular Kdramas of 2018, and its also probably one of the most watched Korean dramas since 2018 begun.

“Hwayugi” is written by the Hong Sisters who have previously worked on so many memorable beloved kdramas, such as “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,” “Masters Sun,” and many others.

  1. Cha Seung Won and Kim Sung Oh are both married

Cha Seung Won has been married for such a long time, he married Lee Soo-jin in 1992. They had a daughter Ye Ni, she was born in 2003.

Actor Kim Sung Oh has also been married for a while, in December 2014 he married a non-entertainment person, 5 years younger than him.

Lee Seung Gi was discharged on October 31st, 2017, not long after, and on November 3rd he announced that he’d be taking on the lead role in “Hwayugi,” it is his first drama comeback since he existed the military.

The actor suffered from a headache but he insisted on filming and going to the drama shooting site since he was one of the first actors to film their scenes that day.

The back of his vehicle was damaged, the actor shot his scenes and later went to a hospital to get a thorough examination.

That didn’t settle well with fans, who started viewing actress Oh Yeon Seo was an insincere fake person.

Her agency first confirmed the dating news, then retracted their statement and said that they were only close friends.

In an episode of “We Got Married” Oh Yeon Seo apologized for Lee Joon for the scandal and said,

“Jang Woo oppa and I got really close through the drama. We ate out together, drank tea together and talked a lot about acting and stuff. So when our picture was taken, I really didn’t know people would see that and think that we were dating. Honestly, this is the first time this happened to me so I thought too easily. This contradicted what her agency had stated before, and following the huge backlash her agency said that they were ‘just friends.’

She then later stepped down from the show along with Lee Joon. Audience criticized her for causing damage to Lee Joon who had been involved in this scandal unknowingly.

To make matters worse for her, her boyfriend back then, actor Lee Jang Woo’s agency didn’t really confirm or deny the dating rumors and kinda swept it under the rug.

Following that and a couple of months later, it was revealed that the two actors have broken up.
