Back in 2011, Yang Se Jong modeled for a short while. After 2012 he enrolled in “Korea National University of Arts” majoring in Theater and Film.

Yang Se Jong is Super lucky

In the kdrama LAND its not so easy to climb up the ladder as quick as Yang Se Jong did.

He only debuted in late 2016 in the hit medical drama “Romantic doctor teacher Kim.” Less than a year later he landed his first EVER leading role, which is astonishing for a rookie actor who hasn’t been known or had an established career yet.

However, he is very talented, with his performances in “Romantic doctor teacher Kim”, OCN’s “Dual” and “Saimdang Light’s Diary” and “Temperature Of Love.” He managed to keep securing leading roles.

Almost all of his dramas score good ratings which are also not even that easy for well-established actors to achieve. Yang Se Jong continues to wow the audience with his performances in his dramas and his good luck.

Yang Se Jong’s life dream is to take a selfie with Bradly Cooper

Yang Se Jong has the weirdest cutest dream there is.

In a previous interview he was asked to name an actor he looks up and likes to meet one day after giving it some thought, he named Bradley Cooper and said that he looks up to him the most, he added,

“If he ever comes to Korea, I’d love to take a selca with him, I’d really love that. This is my goal in life that selfies. I really want it.”

Shin Hye Sun is considered a ‘relatively’ late bloomer

Actress Shin Hye Sun was someone we usually spotted as a supporting character in some of our favorite dramas.

Unlike her leading man Yang Se Jong, Shin Hye Sun has been around since 2012, her debut drama was the hit KBS drama “School 2013.” She gained recognition in 2017’s tvN drama “Stranger” where she played the second lead.

Her biggest hit came in summer 2017 when she led her first drama EVER. KBS’s “My Golden Life” was a hit in South Korea, becoming one of the highest rated dramas of 2017.

The drama managed to achieve great ratings numbers, its final episodes rated 45%.

“30 But 17” is actually Shin Hye Sun’s only second leading role in a major broadcasting station drama. She is considered a late bloomer because it took her a while before she was able to land a leading role and gain the recognition she deserved.

Shin Hye Sun isn’t shy when it comes to love

Shin Hye Sun is not the shy girl she used to be.

She was a guest MC on SBS’s “My Ugly Duckling,” she opened up about love and how its important that you let the other person know you like them.

She said that she used to be shy and when she liked someone she couldn’t bring herself to confess to them. She also admitted that she had confessed to someone on April fool’s day, she said,

“I used to like them ‘the men she was interested in’ first but I didn’t have the courage to confess. So on April fool’s day I said jokingly, ‘lets date.’ If he had said he didn’t want to, I would have just said that I was joking and if he was okay with it, I would have dated him.”

She also talked about her age and how it influenced her thinking, she said,

“I’m not young anymore so I don’t think I have to worry about things like that. However, it’s harder to meet people now.”

Shin Hye Sun is taller than what you’d think

Have you ever noticed that her height difference with her co-star Yang Se Jong isn’t that big even though it’s well-known that Yang Se Jong is tall? Yang Se Jong is in fact 182 cm tall (around 6 feet).

What’s surprising is that Shin Hye Sun is way taller than you’d think. She is 172 cm (5 feet and 8), which is wayyy taller than your average Korean actress. She must be a giant standing next to actresses around her age.

Shin Hye Sun isn’t bothered with comments calling her ugly

Shin Hye Sun had talked about her average looks in an interview back in the day, she responded to people calling her ‘ugly and a nobody’ this was back when she hadn’t been that famous.

She said,

“I receive a lot of comments calling me ugly or a nobody. I look up articles about me a couple times a day. I read all the comments one by one too, only because I’m curious about the stories surrounding me. However, I’m now slowly practicing not to take comments to heart.”

She also added that she thinks her average looks are ‘refreshing’ saying she likes the way she looks.

You will be seeing Shin Hye Sun again on SBS before this year ends

Can’t get enough of the talented Shin Hye Sun? Lucky for you, you will be seeing her before 2018 ends in another drama.

Shin Hye Sun and Lee Jong Suk reunited for the short drama “Hymn of Death.”

Hymn of Death” is a two-part series that tells the story of Korea’s first soprano Yun Sim Deok, the drama was named “Hymn of Death” after her most popular songs. It will differ from the previous musical and film adaptation and focus on the tragic love story between Yun Sim Deok and playwright Kim Woo Jin, it will also be focusing on the work of Kim Woo Jin, something that hasn’t been focused much on before.

Shin Hye Sun’s agency YNK Entertainment confirmed that she will play the female lead in the upcoming drama. She will play the role of Yun Sim Deok, the first Korean female soprano.

It will be directed by PD Park Soo Jin who previously worked on many hit dramas such as “Doctors” and “While You Were Asleep.”

Ahn Hyo Seop had to leave a leading role for a supporting role in “30 But 17”

Ahn Hyo Seop is one of the cutest rising actors today.

He had the chance to lead a drama for the first time in his career back in early 2018. He was confirmed to play the leading role for Kim Yoo Jung’s Drama “Clean With Passion For Now.”

He was supposed to play the first leading role of his career. The drama was supposed to begin filming in early 2018, aiming for a premiere in April 2018. However, Kim Yoo Jung got very sick and had to take a hiatus.

The director insisted on her and halted filming until she got better. When she got well enough to resume, Ahn Hyo Seop was already confirmed for the second leading role in the SBS drama “30 But 17.”

He couldn’t bail out of “30 But 17” so he had to drop out of the leading role in Drama “Clean with Passion for Now.”

He was replaced with actor Yoon Kyun Sang.

“Clean with Passion for Now” has reportedly already begun filming; the drama is aiming for a premiere in November.

Personally, I was very upset he left that drama. I desperately wanted to see someone around the same age as Kim Yoo Jung playing her leading man. I don’t like the pairing of her with Yoon Kyun Sang who looks like he’s old enough to be her dad.

Nothing against Yoon Kyun Sang because he’s hella talented, but I preferred Ahn Hyo Seop. He would have done an amazing job as the first leading man.

Ahn Hyo Seop used to be JYP Entertainment trainee

For someone as good looking and talented as him, it won’t be a stretch to imagine he’d try to be an idol.

Ahn Hyo Seop had talked about his trainee days in JYP Entertainment; he trained for 3 years there in hopes of becoming an idol one day.

He revealed that a number he didn’t know contacted him when he was living in Canada, he added,

“It was their rookie development team, who said they wanted to meet me.”

He used to live in the same dorm as GOT7, and in fact, had been preparing to debut with them. He revealed that he thought he was very lacking so he couldn’t debut. He also added that he was too tall.

Ahn Hyo Seop is 187 cm tall (6 feet 1) which is wayyy taller than GOT7’s average members height.

He admitted,

“I really resented my height then. I wanted to become shorter.”

Ahn Hyo Seop is really close to GOT7’s Jackson

As you’d expect, Ahn Hyo Seop trained for 3 long years as part of the famous label it wouldn’t be a far stretch to say that he’d still be close to some of the label idols.

Ahn Hyo Seop is really close to GOT7’s Jackson, they even appeared together in “Celebrity Bromance.”

Ahn Hyo Seop actually revealed that they used to be the closest among all trainees back then. Jackson added,

“In my hardest times, he’s been my vitamin.”

Ahn Hyo Seop was a part of a project group One o One

He is a member of the project group One o One formed by Starhaus Entertainment, the agency he’s currently a part of.

The group also has actor Kwak Si Yang and also includes Song Won Suk and Kwon Do kyun who are all part of the same label.

They had even released a debut single titled “Love You.” I would love to hear one more song from them but sadly they haven’t released anything new recently.

A staff had died on the set of “30 But 17”

Kim Kyu Hyun, a young crew member of the popular drama had passed away on August 1st.

At first, people suspected that Kim Kyu Hyun passed away because of difficult working conditions on set matched with the record-breaking heat wave in Korea.

The filming even halted after the news spread, the drama received negative attention because of that, many Koreans have actually died because of complications related to the heat wave.

However, it was revealed that he most likely died due to internal causes, he suffered from an endogenous cerebral hemorrhage which is caused by internal sickness rather than a heat wave.

The show paid tribute to the young crew member who passed away, saying,

“His passion and energy brought life to the set, and that became a driving force for the creation of great works.”

May his soul rest in peace!
