After various reports, Mnet has confirmed part of the lineup for the highly anticipated “Queendom Puzzle”!
“Queendom Puzzle” is an entertainment program aimed at creating the strongest combination of a girl group by matching existing girl group members or female artists like a puzzle.
Previously, Former IZ*ONE member Lee Chae Yeon was confirmed to join the lineup. In addition to that, former CLC member Jang Yeeun, LABOUM’s Haein, former MOMOLAND member JooE, Lovelyz’s Kei, former “Produce 48” contestant Shiroma Miru, H1-KEY’s Riina and Hwiseo, and Weeekly members will participate.
According to Mnet, not all Weeekly members are participating and the members names will be announced at a later date.
Additionally, Former IZ*ONE members Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi will not be participating in the show as previously reported.
Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon will serve as the MC and the show is set to air some time this May.
Previously, Mnet hinted through the teaser video that there will be 28 participants and that 7 of them will be selected to form a project girl group.
Mnet will reveal the remaining lineup in May.
