Park Seo Joon And Ahn Bo Hyun Didn’t Get Along On “Itaewon Class” Set? Ahn Bo Hyun Sets The Record Straight

Ahn Bo Hyun has dispelled rumors about him not getting along with “Itaewon Class” co-star Park Seo Joon.

On May 30 episode of JTBC’s “Knowing Brothers,” “drama villains” Park Ha Na, Ahn Bo Hyun and Lee Hak Joo appeared on as guests. During the show, Kang Ho Dong mentioned that he had heard ridiculous rumors about Ahn Bo Hyun not getting along with Park Seo Joon during “Itaewon Class” filming.

The MCs then talked about an instance where the director didn’t give both actors the same opportunity to film multiple takes. Ahn Bo Hyun said that it was the first time he’s heard about such rumors and he went on to clarify,

“This is my first time hearing this.”

He went to explain what exactly happened in that situation that the MCs referred to, he said,

“When I was playing the villain, I felt that I hadn’t shot enough takes, but the director immediately gave the ok. I felt like I was lacking and needed to try filming more scenes but he said, ‘okay, next scene.’

When the director filmed Seo Joon, he spent a lot of time filming for the same thing over and over. So I playfully told the director, ‘you filmed Seo Joon for much longer than me,’ I only said it jokingly and in front of Seo Joon.”

Ahn Bo Hyun went on to praise Park Seo Joon’s acting and spectrum; he said he’d known about him since he went auditioning in the past too. He added,

“I am the same age as Seo Joon, and we’re close friends.

We’re really close and he lives across the street from me. We even met up a week ago.”
