MBC’s “I Live Alone” will not be airing next week as originally scheduled.

On March 12, MBC announced via an official statement that the popular variety show will be taking a one-week hiatus due to safety concerns related to COVID-19.

On March 12, South Korea reported over 380,000 new cases, the most cases it has ever reported. MBC said they will cancel the show as a precautionary measure in consideration of the safety of everyone involved.

Instead of a new episode, a special highlights broadcast is airing instead.

“Home Alone” will resume airing as scheduled on March 25.
