The Korean comedian, Ahn Young Mi, has announced that she will take legal action against rumors of her giving birth overseas.
Ahn’s agency, Medialab SiSo, stated on May 12 that Ahn and her husband had prepared for the pregnancy and discussed it at length, given her husband’s work situation in the United States. They explained that rather than her husband giving up his job and being present for the birth, Ahn, who has a more flexible job, decided to temporarily suspend her broadcasting activities to be with her family.
The agency expressed concern about malicious comments and false information that had been circulating, even about the baby in her womb, and stated that they had refrained from responding until now due to the fear of controversy. However, they now believe that they cannot ignore the situation any longer and are considering taking strong legal action against those responsible.

Ahn Young Mi is currently living in the United States with her husband, who is working there, and has temporarily suspended her broadcast activities to share the joy of childbirth with him.
Considering the special situation of her husband working in the United States, Ahn Young Mi and her husband discussed and prepared for a long time since they learned the news of her pregnancy.
To be together during this precious moment of childbirth, they decided that it was more realistic for Ahn Young Mi, who has a relatively flexible job, to temporarily suspend her broadcast activities than for her husband to give up his job. Therefore, they made the best decision to be together as a family.
