Comedian Seo Se Won Passes Away

Comedian Seo Se Won has passed away while receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Cambodia.

Seo Se Won, who settled in Cambodia for business, received an IV shot at a Korean hospital around 1 pm local time on the 20th and reportedly died of shock.

An official from a local hospital in Cambodia told Dispatch, “Seo Se Won passed away at around 11:00 am (local time) today at the hospital.”

In 2014, Seo Se Won shocked the public by assaulting his wife, Seo Jung-hee. The following year, after divorcing Seo Jung-hee, Seo Se Won remarried a 23-year-old cellist named Kim and had a daughter.

In 2020, it was reported that he won a large-scale real estate construction project worth about 3 trillion won ($2.5 billion), including media businesses, hotels, residences, casinos, golf courses, and hospitals in Cambodia. Recently, he was also spotted performing a religious ceremony and giving blessings to believers at a Cambodian exhibition.
