BTS V is rumoured to appear on the tvN entertainment program “Seojin’s”, and the show has issued a response.

tvN announced to Newsen on December 7the, saying, “Please confirm it through broadcasting” regarding V’s appearance in “’Seojin’s”. The company refused to confirm specific details for safe and smooth filming.

“Seojin’s”, which will be broadcast in the first half of 2023, is a spin-off program that connects season 1 and season 2 of tvN’s “Youn’s Kitchen”, which aired in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Producers Na Young Seok and Jang Eun Jung are co-directors. Actors Lee Seo Jin, Jung Yu Mi, Park Seo Joon, and Choi Woosik appear as fixed members.

“Youn’s Kitchen” opened a restaurant overseas and served traditional Korean food such as bulgogi and bibimbap. Another spin-off of “Youn’s Kitchen”, ‘Youn’s Stay’ which provided accommodation and meals in a hanok to foreigners visiting Korea, was also broadcasted later.

“Seojin’s” deals with the challenge of a new franchise restaurant run by actor Lee Seo Jin, who worked as a director in “Youn’s Kitchen” after being promoted to president. It is planned to deal with Korean fast food.

Apparently, “Seojin’s” shooting was recently conducted in Mexico. As Park Seo-joon and V were seen coming out together at a Mexican restaurant, speculation arose that V might join as a new member of “Seojin’s.”

As the popularity of the Korean Wave is hot, the production team kept the location and time of the filming a secret, to avoid the risk of problems such as safety accidents when people gather at the filming location.

As rumours of V’s joining came forward, expectations have been raised for the chemistry of ‘Wooga Squad’ that will be seen in “Seojin’s” have also risen. Park Seo Joon, Choi Woosik, and V are members of ‘Wooga Squad’, a friend group in the entertainment industry. The three also appeared together in the reality program “In the SOOP: Friendship Trip”, which was released from July to August, and received love from viewers.

Meanwhile, actress Yoon Yeo Jeong, who played an active role in “Youn’s Kitchen” and “Yoon’s Stay”, decided not to appear in “Seojin’s”. Yoon Ye Jeong politely declined her appearance after much consideration because the schedule for season 2 of the Apple TV + original drama “Pachinko” was set in advance.
