Below is a comprehensive list of all the kpop idols who tested positive for COVID-19 in 2021 and in 2020.

The list will also update once an idol recovers from the virus or another kpop idol or singer is diagnosed with it.

Note 1: if we failed to mention an idol please let us know in the comment section so we can add them.

BTS RM and Jin

On December 25, Big Hit Music released a statement to announce that RM and Jin have been diagnosed with COVID-19, fellow member Suga had tested positive on December 24.

On January 4, the agency returned with a new statement to confirm the idols have now fully recovered.

On December 24, Big Hit Music released an official statement via Weverse to announce it. The idol tested positive for the virus on Friday, December 24. He’s currently in self-quarantine after returning to Korea. He’s taken a PCR upon his return the day prior and the results came out positive.

On January 3, Big Hit Music shared that the idol had recovered from the virus via an official statement.

Kep1er’s Xiao Ting and Mashiro

On December 14, Kep1er’s agency released a statement to announce the two members have been diagnosed with the virus. They are asymptomatic. This happened after a staff member tested positive for the virus on December 5.

Super Junior’s Siwon

On December 10, SM Entertainment released an official statement to reveal Siwon has tested positive for the virus. The idol had taken a preemptive test to carry out his scheduled activities and his results came out positive earlier today. As a result, Siwon will not be attending the 2021 MAMA, the idol-actor was previously confirmed as part of the presenters lineup for the ceremony.

On November 12, Super Junior’s agency Label SJ officially confirmed the news. On November 11, the idol test results came out positive and he’s currently in self-quarantine. The label stated that he’s recently come into contact with a confirmed case and underwent PCR testing on November 10. The next day, his test results came out positive.

On November 26, VICTON’s agency, IST Entertainment, announced that Heo Chan had been diagnosed with COVID-19 and added that the rest of the members tested negative.

In their statement, the agency explains that Chan had tested positive for COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated. At the moment, he’s quarantining but is not showing any symptoms.

On December 6, the agency released a statement that said all the members of VICTON were out of self-quarantine.

On November 24, YG Entertainment released a statement to announce that Lisa tested positive for the virus on the afternoon of November 24. The other BLACKPINK members haven’t been classified as a close contact yet, but have received PCR tests and are awaiting their results.

On December 4, YG Entertainment issued a statement to announce the happy news. Lisa has been deemed clinically recovered by government health authorities and has been discharged from quarantine.

On November 14, Kim Yo Han’s agency OUI Entertainment shared a statement to announce the idol-actor has been diagnosed with the virus. His upcoming drama’s premiere was delayed as a result.

On November 24, WEi’s agency OUI Entertainment announced that all members of the group have now been released from their designated quarantine periods and that the two members are covid-free.

On September 6, her agency DSP Media released a statement to address the matter. They stated that she recently began to experience health problems and used a self-testing kit, the results came out positive so she immediately underwent PCR test which confirmed she has COVID-19.

On September 3, FNC Entertainment released a statement to announce that N.Flying’s Lee Seung Hyub, Yoo Hwe Seung, and Seo Dong Sung were confirmed to be diagnosed with COVID-19 today (September 3).

On September 4, FNC Entertainment released a new statement to announce that N.Flying’s Kim Jae Hyun has tested positive for the virus, he’s the fourth member of his group to test positive.

On September 9, FNC has released a statement to reveal that Cha Hun has also tested positive.

Then on September 14, FNC shared that Lee Seung Hyub, Kim Jae Hyun, Yoo Hwe Seung, and Seo Dong Sung have fully recovered. On September 16, it was announced that Cha Hun has also recovered from the virus.

On September 4, Starship Entertainment announced that An Yu Jin had tested positive for COVID-19 while in self-quarantine after she began exhibiting symptoms of a sore throat and fever.

Starship Entertainment revealed on September 16 that she is now fully recovered.

On September 2, the group’s agency BELIFT LAB announced that via an official statement. ENHYPEN members Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, and Sunghoon tested positive for COVID-19 during their self-quarantine period after coming into close contact with a positive case.

On September 5, they came back with a new statement to announce that Ni-ki has also tested positive for the virus. Sunoo is the only member to remain negative.

On September 16, it was confirmed that all six have recovered and that Sunoo has also exited self-quarantine.

On July 16, YG Entertainment revealed in an official statement that So Jung Hwan has tested positive for the virus earlier on the same day. He originally tested negative after Doyoung tested positive. On August 3, YG Entertainment issued an official statement to confirm that TREASURE members Doyoung and Junghwan have recovered from COVID-19 as of July 29.

YG Entertainment released an official statement to reveal that TREASURE Doyoung has tested positive for the virus on July 13, 2021. On August 3, YG Entertainment issued an official statement to confirm that TREASURE members Doyoung and Junghwan have recovered from COVID-19 as of July 29.

On July 17, Cube Entertainment shared that Minhyuk tested positive for COVID-19. The idol showed signs of fever and coughs and went to test on July 16, the results came out on the same day as positive. A couple of days prior his vocal teacher tested positive.

On July 30, Minhyuk held an Instagram Live broadcast to share that he’s been discharged from the hospital.

UP10TION’s agency TOP Media confirmed that UP10TION Bitto has tested positive for COVID-19 on November 19, 2020.

UP10TION’s agency TOP Media released a statement on December 1, 2020, to reveal that UP10TION Kogyeol has also tested positive for the virus.

On December 14, UP10TION’s Xiao tested positive for the virus.

All the members have since recovered.
