The entertainment world of South Korea was taken back and shocked due to the tragic sudden death of actor Kim Joo Hyuk.
In the awake of his death many events were cancelled out of respect for the actor.
Park Shin Hye, Choi Min Sik and Ryu Jun Yeol were scheduled to hold a V Live broadcast promoting their upcoming movie “Silent Witness” but it was cancelled.
The VIP premiere and red carpet event for “Silent Witness” was also cancelled. the movie was produced by the production team Yong Film, they had previously worked on Kim joo Hyuk’s movie “Drug War.” The company is said to be in utter shock following the news of his passing.
Actress Nam Ji Hyun who was also scheduled to hold a V Live cancelled the event, the VIP and red carpet premiere for the upcoming movie “Brother” starring Ma Dong Suk, Hony Lee and Lee Dong Hwi was also cancelled.
The actor passed away on October 30 in an accident that took place around 4:30 p.m. KST in a neighbourhood in Seoul. His car overturned and caught on fire. The actor was rushed into the hospital, but sadly the doctors couldn’t save him and he passed away around 6:30 p.m.
