The 2024 Kdrama “Your Honor” has ended its run earlier today, let us recap the 10th episode and explain the ending!

The episode begins with the police discovering Detective Jang’s body, she’s dead. Prosecutor Kang tells him the news, he doesn’t react in her face but when he goes to his office, he cries thinking about how bad things have gone. Prosecutor Jang cries seeing her body in the morgue and she vows revenge.

Meanwhile, Eun takes Ho-Young to meet her family, he’s anxious and has gotten his gun with him. Kim Gang-Heon figures out he’s been planning on killing his youngest for 6 months and it wasn’t an accident.

He calls Song Pan-Ho and lets him know his son is there with them, Song Pan-Ho freaks out and asks him not to do anything and he’ll come get his son.

Ho-Young finally meets Sang Hyuk who was freshly released from jail, he thinks he saw him somewhere, but Ho-Young says he’s not sure.

Gang-Heon talks to Pan-Ho on the phone, Pan-Ho apologies and says he’s done everything he said and he should spare his son, he even admits to having deceived him but Gang-Heon says he’ll do as he wishes.

The family sits down for dinner and the mother excuses herself to receive a phone call from prosecutor Kang. Gang-Heon asks Ho-Young how much he cares for his Eun and he hesitates, Sang Hyuk even jumps in to defend him.

The prosecutor is bitter about how Pan-Ho had that officer killed so she tells the mother everything about how Ho-Young planned and killed her son, and how he approached her daughter on purpose too.

Sang Hyuk says he recalls seeing him somewhere and then he admits he saw him 2 years ago at the police station leaving for questioning after raping his mother, Sang Hyuk’s expression doesn’t change much and says he doesn’t even remember.

Ho-Young gets agitated and starts breathing heavily, he then draws his gun at Sang Hyuk. Eun stands in front of him and asks him to stop as Gang-Heon is himself shocked.

Gun shots are heard, turns out, Ho-Young shot Sang Hyuk in his right side, not killing him, but he was also shot by the mother. She then shoots him more than three more times killing him on the spot.

Gang-Heon takes away her gun and hands it to his assistant as she collapses after shooting him. Eun rushes to Ho-Young’s side and has a metldown seeing his dead body, he dies.

The father goes inside and sees his son is already dead and everyone has been taken out of the room. He keeps telling his son to get up but he’s already dead. Eun collapses and is taken to the hospital. Gang-Heon suggests the mother and her daughter go to Switzerland and rest there until things quiet down. Eun is checked out mentally and is not doing well.

Police arrives and the assistant says he shot the kid because he drew a gun at them, he’ll likely walk away with minimal damages.

Ho-Young’s funeral is held, and the prosecutor attends and even cries at the funeral even though she egged the mother on. Eun terribly misses Ho-Young and asks Pan-Ho why his son is not at the crematorium, he says he wants to spread his ashes so he rests free.

The mother delivers a written statement as police as police are cornered into accepting what happened without much questioning.

Pan-Ho is then interrogated by Prosecutor Kang and admits to thinking he knew how to rule and judge but he’s wrong and he wants to be punished for his crimes. Both Jeong Yi-Hwa and Kang Moon-Suk want to use him as a pawn and punish Gang-Heon instead so they delay his punishment.

After leaving the hospital, Eun takes various medications and overdoses, she’s rushed by her father but the situation looks terrible and the doctor cannot guarantee her physical function moving forward, she’s not dead but she’ll badly struggle.

Sang-Hyuk avoids punishment and leaves to the US at his father’s orders but prosecutor Kang tells him not to relax too much because she’s coming for him. He laughs it off but she says she’ll use something above the law to punish him and his group.

At the beach, Pan-Ho comes to see Gang-Heon and says he’s sorry about what happened to Eun because she didn’t deserve any of this and why she had to pay this sacrifice, Gang-Heon says he doesn’t know and doesn’t know why he’s alive, he’s alive only because, without purpose or meaning.

Pan-Ho tells him not to forget it, Gang-Heon asks if he’s seeking revenge, Pan-Ho says its repentance as they should pay for the crimes they committed.

Gang-Heon says he’s contemplated, why was it like that and what produced this result and if they’re meant to be punished this way. He then leaves. Pan-Ho stays on the beach.
