Bo Min is interrogating Seong A who is arrogant and unbearable. Bo Min knows she’s claimed self-defense and due to her past mental illness too, she’ll have a strong defense. Bo Min mentions if she buried the bodies in the field and due to her reaction, Bo Min searches there. The chief refuses at first but gives in eventually.
Eventually, her father’s lawyer comes to pick her up and tells her its her last warning and she should head to Seoul. She tells him to sue Bo Min and send her the documents, she also scolds him for not having her passport because he rushed over.
She goes back to the launder-mat and there, adds clothes, and burns everything to the ground.
Jeon Yeong-Ha’s daughter barely survived and even saved her child, the father is obviously distressed and when he finds out Seong A escaped, he’s livid.
In the field, they find loads of bodies including that of Officer Seon Tae there.
When Yeong-Ha calls Bo Min about Seong A escaping justice, she knows something is about to happen so she heads to the cottage.
As Sung A takes her passport, she’s confronted by Jae Sik, he hits her with the gun and she remembers her dad’s warning, so she calls him, he’s seeing the photos of her murder scenes. He doesn’t say anything and she closes the phone angrily, thus, she begins tormenting him about killing his son as Yeong-Ha arrives, she laughs and says its unfair and if he killed him, she’ll tell him where his son’s body is because what he buried wasn’t his son.
He shoots at his shoulder barely grazing him and then shoots her in the abdomen.
Bo Min arrives and tells him to lower the gun or else, he says she should lower hers too and she does. As she does, he shoots Seong A again but is shot and Bo Min gets shot in the shoulder too.
Seong A takes the gun in the heat of the moment and shoots at them, barely missing both men. She then escapes because the gun does not work. As she escapes, Bo Min hears two gunshots.
The police pick up a body from the pool.
Yeong-Ha’s daughter wakes up and is okay and Bo Min clears out her fellow dead officer’s closet.
Yong Chae is discharged from the hospital and his family comes over to visit him. They have a meal and he goes back to the cottage and tightens the pipes so they don’t freeze.
There, he sees Yeong-Ha again, he’s happy he’s ok.
We get a flashback and discover that as the two men chased Seong A outside, Jae Sik continued shooting at her, as she ran away, he then shot one last time at her head as she fell into the pool.
In the present, Yeong-Ha tells his friend he’s only gaining weight but wants to repair the place by professionals.
Bo Min visits Gi Ho and talks about the photo with his parents and says she took a photo in that same location, he gives her the photo.
She talks about the case of Jong Du and his mother and says not every secret has to come out or be revealed. She reveals Jae Sik refuses to clarify where he got the gun and Seong A’s father hires lawyers to defend him despite killing his daughter.
The gun he used to kill Seong A was similar to the one that killed Ji Hyang Cheol but not much progress was made so the case was closed.
When he asks her why she’s letting this slide, she says she doesn’t want to let go of the killer and capture the frog. She also suggests he visit Yeong-Ha.

Yeong Ha says ok, and they will meet up to talk about their connection.

“The Frog” ending- review
That was nice. The delay of the reveal of who died was very unnecessary and wouldn’t have mattered if they just revealed she died.
I need to ponder on the drama more to give a clearer judgment but I enjoyed Go Min Si’s performance a lot. I hated Seong A and wanted to see her die and I am glad she suffered, I do think she should have suffered even more but Jae Sik looked like he really couldn’t kill a person but had to.
I think Go Min Si will receive a lot of praise for her performance, she’s always great and here, she shines so brightly.
One thing about the drama, the editing is definitely a miss for me. I personally didn’t quite understand that Kye Sang’s character was living in the past until episode 2, I thought he was using that old phone just because, I wasn’t pay that close of attention and then when I googled the plot, I discovered its two timelines.
The editing needed a bit more refining overall.
Overall, this was nice.
