“The Auditors” Ending Explained- Episode 12 Recap
The tvN drama “The Auditors” has concluded its run earlier today, here is a recap of its 12th and final episode and its ending explained!

Dae-Woong arrives at the burning building finding Shin Cha-Il and head Choi there, he rescues both and Head Choi is barely recovering. Shin Cha-Il refuses treatment and insists on visiting the funeral of their brother because an autopsy must be conducted.
Shin Cha-Il goes to the funeral and alleges that Dae-Woong is the killer of his brother and the wife insists on an autopsy.
Goo Han-Soo goes to Head Choi’s wife to ask for her help, he tries to see Head Choi but he’s refused.
Due to the suspicions of murder, Dae-Woong is arrested by police and brought in for questioning.
Se-Woong moves fast and has his men move Cha-Il into a different department and attempts to discourage his team from pursuing further action.
He also holds an emergency meeting to dismiss Dae-Woong bringing up the slush fund and such. The majority vote in favor of that until Dae-Woong shows up, he says not too fast and insists on holding a meeting to also dismiss his brother.
Cha-Il corners him, and brings up the slush fund. He admits to using it for the company but then its revealed he also used it personally too. Its also then reported that a regulatory official will report him for bribes after Cha-Il and his team corner him with evidence that he received bribes.
Then, they also show footage of him attempting to murder head Choi. Then head Choi shows up showing how his death was staged. He also exposes him, then, police shows up to arrest him.
To Cha-Il, he says he only wanted to do whats best for the company and because so many horrible people were in it, he had to be evil too to do something worthwhile.
Dae Woong is then appointed as the president of the company, and goes to see his brother who is now in jail. There he asks if the incident involving their older brother that time was an accident, and he alleges it is despite the fact that it wasn’t.
Cha-Il hands in his resignation and accepts a team dinner with his people, he then tells them he’s leaving.
After he leaves, he opens up to Han Soo about how his father’s death made him approach every audit with immense seriousness, he also hands him his trusted recorder.
As time goes by, Han Soo becomes like Cha-Il and is doing a good job auditing. They will get a new manager soon and he also gives up on going to Florida.
Seo-Jin moves to a different department and is doing well there too.
Cha-Il is taking a break somewhere where is sea, he is approached by an older man wearing fishing gear asking him to do one important job with him, the man is a huge head of the board of audit and inspection on the Korean stage.
Cha-Il looks directly into the camera.
