The episode begins with Moo-Jin and Chi-Yeol attacking each other and pulling on each other’s hair, they’re caught by their kids. Chi-Yeol tells Tae-Pyeong he said bad things about him so he got angry, Tae-Pyeong doesn’t pick a fight with him and just leaves.
Moo-Jin also attempts to defend himself but Mi-Rae tells him he did well and it feels good.
Meanwhile, the parents are discussing Hyeon-Jae’s future with his father trying to pressure him to go the traditional route even lying to Ae-Yeon. The son is sad because of this.
The next day, Mi-Rae and Tae-Pyeong have breakfast together and she tells him its fine and she’s ok. At work, some talk crap about her and how she seduced the CEO’s son but she gives it back to them 10 folds.
After work, Jae-Geol thinks of Jeong-In who calls him before he does, she offers to do his hair, but then hesitates and talks about what they are to each other. Jae-Geol says he’s interested in her but is not in a position to date considering his circumstances but Jeong-In says she doesn’t mind and is happy to hear he likes her too. They begin dating.
On another day, Mi-Rae takes a break and takes her mom to get facials and have fun dates together. She even talks about how she’s happy to be alone for the most part and there is so much she wants to do, the mom is happy to hear this.
At his taekwondo office, Moo-Jin visits Tae-Pyeong and apologizes to him for getting into a fight with his father, he even says parents are like that very defensive about their kids. Tae-Pyeong ends up reaching out to his father to have a drink and tells him he will quit after his internship, the father accepts it and honors his part of the deal, the two drink together and Tae-Pyeong shows his appreciation for having him as a dad.
At home, Moo-Jin tells his son he’s doing it for his own good but the son refuses to listen, he then leaves later. In the morning, Moo-Jin asks how to make up with his son and wants to take him to the bathhouse but discovers he’s not home.
As Mi-Rae comes along, the family figures out he’s missing, as they’re discussing it, he turns out to be inside the home, he tells them they’ve always protected him not telling him anything always treating him like a baby and he’s sick and tired of it. The mom has a discussion with him alone and apologizes for not considering his feelings, then, when the family comes back inside as they finished discussing, they also apologize to him.
They even decide to gather once a month to have a meal.
Ae-Yeon begins to make changes to her home and even signs up to get a driver’s license and buy a used car as she found a job. She also takes Moo-Jin on a trip and tells him she finds it lonely she’s living alone at times but is also happy, thus, she wants to keep it as is, not living together for the time being. Moo-Jin tells her she chose right and he supports her.
Mi-Rae gets the promotion and during a lunch with co-workers, she reveals she’s still against marriage and doesn’t want to do it. Mi-Rae says Tae-Pyeong is also ok with it.
At night, Tae-Pyeong visits Mi-Rae who planned them a trip together after a while and she has all these things she wants to do. He tells her they’re not breaking up and they should take it easy as he wants to be with her for a long time.
At a neighbors dinner, Jeong-Hyeok reveals his wife is pregnant, and when she ask if he’ll reveal he’s now a famous writer, he says never.
On another day, Mi-Rae visits her father and they have a heart to heart talk. She says she lived hating him because of what he did but not anymore and even calls him ‘father.’ He’s very happy to hear this. When she asks him why he never told them he caught the scammer, he says that above all, he felt ashamed of himself so he wanted to come out of the blue instead of coming clean.
They even play baseball together since he’s now coaching kids.
Hyeon-Jae also begins doing interviews for his app pitch to take dogs on trips and he feels like he’ll get in.
The family gathers for a meal and discuss various things, they want to go on a trip but argue about who sleeps with who.
