Ji-Hwan is rushed to the hospital after bleeding badly, he get surgery and is in a coma due to severe bleeding, they don’t know when he’ll wake up.
Ji-Hwan’s father refuses questioning as he hears his son is badly injured, only when he wakes up that he agrees to talk to the prosecution. He’s going to be charged with several offenses and will likely spend around 5 years in jail.
Ji-Hwan wakes up a day later and everyone celebrates him back. He recovers well too and is ultimately discharged.
Ji-Hwan visits his father as he leaves the hospital, the father tells him he’s not his son anymore despite Ji-Hwan saying he’d still like to be a good son, not denying he screwed up along the way. Ji-Hwan is not shocked by his father’s words and its sort of indicated that the father absolves him from feeling guilty about his association with him.
Ji-Hwan’s crew celebrates his return to the house and that night, he fakes being in pain and goes upstairs with Eun-Ha, he asks her to stay the night with him and they sleep together.
A little while later [around at least 9 months]
Il-Young and Mi-Ho celebrate the 100th day of their daughter’s birth with the deer family and Mi-Ho’s family, they snap cute family photos, and Ji-Hwan sees how Eun-Ha handles the kid and is happily imagining this is them. He overhears her saying marriage is not for her right now and she’s happy being an aunt.
Ji-Hwan wants to marry Eun-Ha but is unsure how to bring it up, he tries to talk to her but she’s now a famous YouTuber with over 1 million subscribers who is very busy.
He tries to propose to her one day and Il-Young calls him, he tells him to retreat as its important he plans the moment right.
Prosecutor Jang is still doing great with his team but still watches Eun-Ha, when Officer Song Ji-Eun asks him why he does it, he says he seriously wishes the best for her in her life and is still rooting for her even though he stopped pursuing her. He says he’s not ready yet to open up to anyone else.
On another day, Ji-Hwan says he’s busy and doesn’t pick up Eun-Ha, when she arrives home, he had prepared a proposal to her. Buried in the dirt where they hid their stuff before as kids, Ji-hwan had prepared a letter and a cake for Eun-ha.
The letter said, “Thank you for always playing with me. Let’s keep playing together from now on.”
Seo Ji-hwan said, “You once said I led you to a good path, but it’s the opposite. You always make me want to be a better person. No matter what happens, I will never leave you,” and proposed with a ring, asking, “Eun-ha, I want to like you forever. Will you let me?”
She accepts his proposal and they share a hug and a kiss.
The deer gang are very happy for them and even end up gifting Eun-ha a car as a wedding gift.
The deer gang and Eun-ha are still having fun and organizing parties to play around and entertain kids.
The end.

“My Sweet Mobster” ending review
ooohhhh, that was SO DARN CUTE!!!! a bit bare bone BUT SO CUTTTEEEE! >.<
This might be one of the only one or two kdramas I am currently keeping up with, its just so sweet. Granted, I felt it carried on for a bit too long than it needed to but honestly, the chemistry and performances of the cast were so cute, I just couldn’t say much
From a script perspective, the drama is very basic, truth be told, but it has a lot of warmth, so much warmth that I felt watching it. Its such a nice story and a nice change of pace from some of the darker stuff out now, its like a sweet break kind of kdrama.
And most of all, Uhm Tae Goo carries this project. Sun Hwa does great too, as expected of her, and they share such great chemistry I honestly ship them stogether. To be honest, I am highlighting Uhm Tae Goo because this is his 1st rom-com, and he did so well you wouldn’t believe he has almost played villain roles in the past.
I love him as an actor and seeing the range he has, its quite admirable. He’s so charismatic in a chill kind of way. He has a cool aura that I don’t know how to describe and can be both cute or intimidating if he wishes to, seriously an amazing actor.
I am just scared this will be some sort of one time thing, call me greedy but one project like this from Uhm Tae Goo is NOT ENOUGH. I need more, maybe another one in the near future?
Anyways, thanks to the cast and crew of this beautiful kdrama, you did amazing.
