Kiss Sixth Sense” ending has aired earlier today, here is a recap of the final episode.

Cha Min-Hu pulls out Hong Ye-Sool from the water and tries to resuscitate her. It works, however, he gets stabbed by Kim Hae-Jin who claims he hurt her and put her in danger.

Luckily, police gets there and arrests him for the murder of Ye Soo’s father that happened in the year 2000. Meanwhile, they rush Cha Min-Hu to the hospital hoping to save his life. The doctor does his best but tells them he might not wake up because he lost a lot of blood.

While in surgery, we get a flashback to the past when Cha Min-Hu and Hong Ye-Sool used to be kids.

Hong Ye-Sool was lost as a kid and Cha Min-Hu searched all day to help find her home. Her parents had been looking everywhere for her. She falls in love with him after that and they bond. She also begins protecting him from bullies and stands up for him. The two hang out together all the time and Cha Min-Hu regularly spends time at their house. He was also taught how to paint by Ye Sool’s mom and what being an advertiser is all about from her father.

One day, weather forecast says we’re expected to see the first super blood moon in 22 years that day. At night, the two kids come back and Cha Min-Hu finds her father laying on the floor. He senses something is deeply wrong and they begin getting chased by the murderer. He hides Ye Sool and runs away to deter him, however, when he goes back to her, she falls into the river as she’s getting up. He goes into the river and saves her life. He attempts the same thing that happened in the present day. He resuscitate by performing CPR on her and she wakes up. While he’s doing that, the blood moon is in full swing and we see weird lights emitting from the skies hinting at the fact that this was when they first got their superpowers.

When Hong Ye-Sool woke up, she was in the hospital and found out her father was hospitalized too. He ends up passing away and she tells her mom she knew it was happening. Her mother explains when she saw her daughter didn’t remember him, she let her be.

After the father’s death, the mother couldn’t handle it and decided to immigrate to the U.S.

Back to the present day

Cha Min-Hu doesn’t wake up immediately and Hong Ye-Sool decides to quit her job and look after him. Despite her attempt to quit, she’s given a leave for a month. Oh Kyung-Soo meets Hong Ye-Sool at the hospital and he tells her he believes the two got their superpowers so they could protect each other, those past events triggered them and they developed such superpowers from that.

Not too long after that, Cha Min-Hu wakes up but pretends he doesn’t remember her at first giving her a shock. When she kisses him, she finds out her superpowers are gone and so are his.

On another day, the couple goes to their old hiding spot and reminisce about the old days. Cha Min-Hu explains he wanted to tell her and waited for her to remember him but she never did. Then he found out why she had forgotten all those memories they shared. When he wanted to tell her, he found out she was dating another man.

When he goes up to the wall, he sees a letter Lee Pil-Yo had left her. He asks if they should marry a while later and she says they should date and do stuff all other couples do.

However, reality hits and they bicker all the time. They keep fighting in front of everyone and are very difficult to deal with at work, they cause everyone around them to feel uncomfortable whenever they’re fighting and have broken up for a short period.

Eventually, they do break up in what seems like a serious one. They bicker some more and feel extreme jealousy around each other at work which inconveniences everyone around them.

They both get called and find out that Oh Seung-Taek and Ban Ho-Woo are pregnant and getting married.

At a press conference. Lee Pil-Yo and Oh Ji-Young are promoting their work. Oh Ji-Young had kissed him the other night and he says he knows its a misunderstanding. When she pesters him and asks if she’ll ask him a serious question whether he’ll answer, he says yes.

When cameras roll, Oh Ji-Young actually tells him she likes him on air leading to a frenzy. Lee Pil-Yo is surprised and happy at the same time.

Hong Ye-Sool goes back to Cha Min-Hu’s place to retrieve her stuff since they’ve broken up. After bickering some more, her warns her that if she left, they’re truly over this time. She leaves.

He follows after she leaves and apologies, he says even if she breaks up with him, he’ll never let her go. She says he might not be her forever love in voiceover but she loves him dearly.

When the two kiss, Hong Ye-Sool freezes and opens her eyes, can she see the future again?

The end.

Did Cha Min-Hu die after getting stabbed?

No, he didn’t. He was saved just in time by police that came to arrest the person who stabbed him just in time.

Did Cha Min-Hu lose his memory?

No, he didn’t, but he did pretend to have lost it just to find out whether Hong Ye-Sool remembered their past together.

Did Hong Ye-Sool and Cha Min-Hu get married?

No, they didn’t. They instead dated and then lived together for a while. They broke up a couple of times too but got back together each time.

How did Hong Ye-Sool and Cha Min-Hu get their superpower?

Turns out, when they were young, Hong Ye-Sool dropped into the lake and had to be rescued by Cha Min-Hu who gave her CPR through the mouth. Back then, the first super blood moon in 22 years appeared and this is how they got their superpowers.

They theorize they got it in order to protect each other.
