Disney+ “Red Swan” Ending Explained

Disney+ “Red Swan” has unveiled its two finale episodes earlier today, here is a recap of the finale and the ending explained!

Park Mi-Ran gets arrested by the prosecution and is blind sided that she has to go. Butler Han says he’ll do whatever it takes to get her out.

The prosecution obtains a seize and seizure and searches the Hwain residence, they need to obtain the safe’s ledgers legally for it to count in the court of law. They take everything with them.

While Seo Do-Yoon watches on, he sees Bodyguard Lee Jin and she runs away from him he tracks her down and they engage in a battle, he then finds a scar on her back and discovers she’s the one behind the murders.

He has a USB of her killing Oh Hyun-Soo and this will put her away for life. She’s arrested but give butler Han a look, Do-Yoon knows something is up so he goes and confronts him. He thinks he won and says he should seek revenge against him ‘legally.’

Butler Han takes out what he’s hidden in the yard, he takes out the gold bar his son Young Min used to kill Kim Du-O with, he then threatens Park Mi-Ran that he’d reveal her illegitimate son killed her husband, so she should take the fall for ordering the hit on Oh Wan-Soo too.

She finds out he coordinated this and is livid but cannot do anything about it.

Kim Yong-Kook talks to Jang Tae-Ra telling her he can give her over 100 billion won [over 50 million] if she leaves him alone, she finds out he loves Oh Wan-Soo that much. She then talks to her mother and says she’s sick of him, she leaves him alone.

Kim Yong-Min is cornered into signing a document that would bar him from getting money from that slush fund, so he goes home angry. He then pulls out a rifle and goes to confront Yong-Kook.

Even under pressure, Yong-Kook refuses to give him any cent, and calls him names. Butler Han sees this and asks his son to let him shoot him instead. Now, Yong-Kook is scared but he wrestles the gun out of him and gets into an argument with him forcing Yong-Min to shoot him, he then shoots him again.

At that same time, Wan-Soo is leaving the place but hears gun shots, she goes back inside and sees her husband, she cries her eyes out and he says he’s happy she’s calling him honey. He dies in her arms, but Butler Han tells Yong-Min to leave and take the CCTV with him and he blames the murder on Wan-Soo as police arrives.

As Do-Yoon hears of this and rushes to the place, he finds the CCTV was taken out and begins to search for Yong-Min. He eventually finds him and had him arrested and dusted for gun powder.

He then proves Wan-Soo’s innocence through the gun powder results and the CCTV footage. The prosecution also opens the safe and is able to pull out a USB from it.

Wan-Soo finds out that Park Mi-Ran confessed to trying to murder her but she confronts her while she’s in jail, she tells her to snap out of it and have butler Han held accountable.

Wan-Soo and Do-Yoon find out that Butler Han now is the CEO of Hwain group and he must have something huge on Park Mi Ran that had her confess to something false.

Do-Yoon goes to confront him and he’s gloating about how he built Hwain. He says he has his eyes on NOW funds and would pay him out, but Do-Yoon has a surprise for him.

Do-Yoon tells him he shouldn’t have handled the ledgers to the prosecution and the prosecution now has footage that shows him taking the ledgers from MR. Oh. Because of this, they also figured out he hired K1 to kill whom they killed.

Eventually, he’s also arrested.

Do-Yoon hands in his resignation letter to Wan-Soo, he asks her to look after herself and hugs her goodbye. He goes back to the police force too.

Mrs. Park is released from jail and Wan-Soo is there for her, she’s still going to go under trial for the embezzlement of NOW funds but was released from jail.

She goes to see her son and tells him not to trust his father. She says he has evidence of his son kept hidden away. Angry, Yong-Min confronts him and nearly chokes him to death crying about how he betrayed him. Han tries to explain himself but it does not work.

Mrs. Han goes to the shareholders and reveals the new CEO will be chosen per recommendations and the late CEO’s funds used for succession will be handed to NOW to give back to people.

1 Year later

Wan-Soo is at the airport and is preparing to leave to volunteer overseas. She runs into Do-Yoon who says he’s here to volunteer too, she smiles knowing he’s coming with her.
