Kdrama Fans Stunned By Young Actor Kim Kang Hoon’s Growth Spurt At “Death’s Game” Press Conference

Fans are shocked to find out just how much the child actor from “When the Camellia Blooms” has grown during recent press conference appearance.

Kim Kang Hoon appeared on stage at the press conference for the TVing drama “Death’s Game” held at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Seoul on the 13th.

Immediately after the release of the press conference photos, there was a flood of reactions such as “Pil-gu has grown so much since When the Camellia Blooms,” “He really grew up well,” and “He is still cute and cool” in online communities.

“Death’s Game” is based on the Naver webtoon of the same name and tells the story of Choi Yi Jae, who experiences 12 deaths and lives before descending into hell. Park So Dam portrays the character of Death, a mysterious entity that passes judgment on Choi Yi Jae before he falls into hell.

In “Death’s Game,” Kim Kang Hoon plays the role of Kwon Hyuk-soo, a high school student who is a victim of school violence. It is expected that the story will unfold with refreshing development as Choi Yi-Jae enters Kwon Hyuk-soo’s body.

On this day, Kim Kang Hoon expressed his gratitude, saying, “When I first read the script, it was difficult to express the difference between Kwon Hyuk-soo’s body before and after Choi Yi-Jae entered, but I improved by continuously following the actions of the adults around me. I was able to adapt well thanks to the director and the fellow actors who taught me well.”

Meanwhile, Kim Kang Hoon made his debut in 2013 on the MBC every1 variety show “From Today, Mom and Dad” and gained attention for his role as young Eugene Choi (played by Lee Byung Hun) in the 2018 tvN drama “Mr. Sunshine.” Especially, he received hot attention for his role as Gong Hyo Jin’s son, Kang Pil-gu, in KBS2’s “When the Camellia Blooms.”
