Actor Yoo Yeon Seok’s agency has vowed to take legal action against the author of the post allegedly accusing the actor of disrespecting a security guard of his apartment.
On March 22, his agency, King Kong by Starship made an official statement announcing that the accusations are completely groundless after confirming with the actor and vowed to make defamation charges against the writer of the post.
Earlier, a claimant on an online community posted an article claiming that his father was insulted by Yoo Yeon Seok and his father is a security guard who works in an apartment where Yoo Yeon Seok stays and adding that Yoo Yeon Seok’s appearance is not everything.

Hello. We’re King Kong by Starship.
We would like to inform you of our official position on the community post related to our actor Yoo Yeon Seok. After checking the facts with the actor, it was confirmed that the contents of the post were completely groundless.
We will file a criminal complaint against the author of the post for defamation for stating false information. Currently, we have completed the appointment of a lawyer, and we are preparing for a strong legal action process.
In this regard, please refrain from groundless rumors or speculative articles.

Later, the original author wrote, “Recently, (Yoo Yeon Seok) has appeared a lot on entertainment programs and gained popularity, so I wrote the post out of jealousy. I didn’t expect things to blow up like this. I am sorry to actor Yoo Yeon Seok. I have never actually met him, but I think he is an actor with a good personality full of consideration.”
