Actor Yoo Yeon Seok, who made a dazzling return to the SBS Friday-Saturday drama “Dr. Romantic 3,” will reportedly actively participate until the final episode.

According to OSEN’s coverage on the 4th of June, Yoo Yeon Seok, who played the role of Kang Dong-joo in Season 1, appeared in the ending of Episode 12, which aired on the 3rd of June, and is scheduled to continue his active role until the last episode.

SPOILERS AHEAD

In the 13TH episode, Kang Dong-joo returned and revealed that he would fill the position of former trauma center director Cha Jin-man (Lee Kyung Young) in a “different way” after submitting his resignation letter. The next episode will mark Kang Dong-joo’s official return to Doldam Hospital as the head of the trauma center and the GS. Especially, as Dr. Kim (Han Suk-kyu) described Kang Dong-joo as “someone stronger than me,” the anticipation for the return of the original troublemaker Kang Dong-joo has increased.

With only four episodes left, there has been speculation about whether Yoo Yeon Seok’s return as Kang Dong-joo will be limited to a special appearance or if he will stay until the end with Dr. Kim and the Doldam Hospital team. Kang Dong-joo is expected to be with viewers until the last episode of Season 3.

Yoo Yeon Seok’s return is expected to bring a boost of energy to the already successful “Dr. Romantic 3.” SBS has not commented on the report yet.

Stay tuned for more updates.
