On March 22, it was revealed that Yoo Yeon Seok was offered to star in JTBC’s upcoming office romance drama “Understanding of Love,” and he is now reviewing the offer. And later that day, it was announced by Moon Ga Young’s agency Keyeast Entertainment that the actress has also been offered a role in the drama and it is now under review.
“Understanding Love” is based on a novel of the same name written by Lee Hyuk Jin, it is a romance drama that takes place at Nara Bank’s Yeongpo branch which is also celebrating its 99th anniversary of its foundation. The story revolves around the employers Ha Sang Soo, Ahn Soo Young, Park Mi Kyung, and Jung Jong Hyun and how they handle their relationships and romance in the office.
Yoo Yeon Seok is in talks to play Ha Song Soo, the third-year manager of the general consultation team at Nara Bank’s Yeongpo branch. He is a bright, humorous, and straightforward person who doesn’t seem to be shaken by the ups and downs of life, he is also very smart and popular among other employees but is envied too.
Moon Ga Young was offered the role of Ahn Soo Young, a fourth-year chief bank teller at Nara Bank’s Yeongpo Branch. She is considered the goddess of Yeongpo branch because of her outstanding beauty. She started out as a part-time teller but is a chief who has been in this position for four years and can’t seem to go further from that.
