Actor Yoo Ah In, who was investigated by the police for drug use, posted an apology on SNS on March 28th.

The actor said, “I will diligently participate in future investigations, and will gladly accept all of your criticisms and judgment of the law.”

In his apology, Yoo Ah In said,

This is Yoo Ah In.

I made an insufficient apology after the police investigation yesterday. I apologize once again for disappointing many people who have loved and cared for me, due to an unfortunate incident. I express my apology to those who worked with me in movies, dramas, and advertisements.

I deeply reflect on the moments when I took on heavy responsibilities irresponsibly, and I am sorry for causing damage to numerous colleagues and officials who wanted to achieve their precious dreams and goals. I will try to fulfill my responsibilities.

Many people supported me and gave me generous encouragement and affection, but I feel great regret and shame that I was harming myself while continuing the actor’s career. I hurt many people because of such a mistake.

During the time of reflection when the incident was raised, I clearly recognized that my mistake was a fault that no excuses could cover up. The self-justification I brought was a wrong idea that could never cover my stupid choice.

Once Again, I’m deeply sorry.

Yoo Ah In is under investigation by the police on charges of administering four types of narcotics: marijuana, propofol, cocaine, and ketamine. As Yoo Ah In became a suspect in a drug case, there are setbacks in the release of three films and dramas starring him.
