Woo Do Hwna And Lee Yoo Mi’s Netflix Drama “Mr. Plankton” Confirms Premiere Details
“Mr. Plankton” unveiled its teaser poster and trailer at last!
“Mr. Plankton” is a romantic comedy about a man named Haejo (played by Woo Do Hwan), who feels like he was born by mistake, and embarks on the last journey of his life. Along the way, the world’s unluckiest woman, Jaemi (played by Lee Yoo Mi), is forced to join him, setting the stage for an unexpected adventure.
The teaser trailer opens with the shocking circumstances of Haejo and Jaemi’s lives. Haejo, who is diagnosed with a terminal illness after discovering a brain tumor, coincidentally reunites with his ex-girlfriend Jaemi on the same day. Jaemi, who was destined to be a traditional daughter-in-law, is devastated after being informed of her premature menopause.
On Jaemi’s wedding day, Haejo unexpectedly appears and says, “You don’t want to get married, you want to escape. Let’s go, with me,” extending his hand to her. During their unplanned journey, Haejo’s line, “Why is life getting fun at the end? It’s making me regret things,” leaves a lasting impression.
Director Hong Jong Chan hinted, “Not only Haejo and Jaemi, but all the characters in the story are lovable. By following these pure characters through their humorous and joyful journey, you’ll find comfort and healing.”
“Mr. Plankton” will be released on Netflix on the 8th of November, starring Woo Do Hwan, Lee Yoo Mi, Oh Jung Se, and Kim Hae Sook.
