Upcoming Drama “Perfect Family” Led By Kim Byung Chul, Yoon Se Ah And More Confirms August Broadcast And Details
“Perfect Family” is set to premiere in August on KBS!
The new KBS 2TV drama “Perfect Family” is a mystery drama about a seemingly happy and perfect family that starts to doubt each other after their daughter is involved in a murder. The drama is directed by the renowned Japanese filmmaker Yukisada Isao and produced by Victory Contents. The cast includes Kim Byung Chul, Yoon Se Ah, Kim Young Dae, Park Joo Hyun, Yoon Sang Hyun, Choi Ye Bin, Lee Si Woo, Kim Do Hyun, and Kim Myung Soo. The drama will air on KBS 2TV in August.
Kim Byung Chul plays Choi Jin Hyuk, the adoptive father of Choi Sun Hee (played by Park Joo Hyun) and a lawyer. Jin Hyuk is a devoted father who left his job as a prosecutor to become a lawyer for his daughter’s sake. Yoon Se Ah portrays Ha Eun Joo, a stay-at-home mother who will do anything to protect her daughter.
Park Joo Hyun plays the only daughter, Choi Sun Hee, who is perfect in every way but struggles to open her heart.
Kim Young Dae portrays Park Kyung Ho, a popular young man with good looks, a cheerful personality, and the only son of a wealthy family. Despite repeatedly confessing his feelings to Sun Hee and being rejected, Kyung Ho saves Sun Hee from danger, leading to his misfortune.
Yoon Sang Hyun plays Choi Hyun Min, a man who earns people’s trust with his kind face and voice. Choi Ye Bin takes on the role of Lee Soo Yeon, a tough high school girl who cannot tolerate being looked down upon.
Lee Si Woo plays Ji Hyun Woo, a kind-hearted boy who always ranks second in popularity and academics. Secretly in love with Sun Hee, he gets involved with her and Soo Yeon, expanding the story into an unpredictable narrative.
Kim Do Hyun transforms into Shin Dong Ho, a skilled and tenacious detective who chases cases to the end once he gets hooked. Kim Myung Soo makes a special appearance as Lee Sung Woo, Dong Ho’s junior and partner. The collaboration between these detectives, who meticulously investigate the seemingly perfect yet suspicious family, is highly anticipated.
“Perfect Family” is garnering considerable attention as it marks the first Korean drama directed by Yukisada Isao, who has won numerous awards at various film festivals.
