One of the most beloved duos from SBS’ hit drama “Penthouse” will be making a special appearance in tvN’s “Shooting Stars”!
“Shooting Stars” is a rom-com drama that tells the story of people who work hard behind the scenes of the entertainment industry, such as PR teams, managers, and reporters, it focuses on those who clean up after idols’ messes.
The drama previously had a lot of big stars make a special appearance including Chae Jong Hyeop, Song Ji Hyo, Moon Ga Young, Park Jung Min, Choi Ji Woo, and Kim Dong Wook.
The next stars who will be making a special appearance in the drama are the duo Uhm Ki Joon and Bong Tae Gyu from SBS’ “Penthouse” who will be reuniting with their other co-star Yoon Jong Hoon.
Uhm Ki Joon will play top star Yoon Jang Seok who may or may not renew his contract with the agency, and Bong Tae Gyu will play Sung Woo Joo, the CEO of the agency who will do anything to keep Yoon Jang Seok in the agency. This raises curiosity about how these two people became intertwined with Kang Yoo Sang, who will be played by Yoon Jong Hoon who is now a manager at Star Force Entertainment.
In the newly released stills, Yoon Jang Seok exudes a powerful aura of a top star with his relaxed figure and confident attitude, he is the only one sitting on a chair while everyone in the conference room is standing and seems to be staring at Kang Yoo Sang. On the other hand, Sung Woo Joo who, unlike Yoon Jang Seok, provokes laughter with his very angry appearance, he can even be seen pinching Kang Yoo Sang’s cheek, making viewers look forward to what had happened between them.
It is said that the reason Uhm Ki Joon and Bong Tae Gyu decided to appear in “Shooting Stars” despite their busy schedules is to support their “The Penthouse” co-stars Kim Young Dae, Yoon Jong Hoon, and Ha Do Kwon. On the day of the filming, the two reunited with Jong Hoon Yoon where they showed off their amazing friendship and chemistry on the set. Expectations are high for the upcoming episode of “Shooting Stars,” which will show performances of Uhm Ki Joon and Bong Tae Gyu that is different from their other works.
Episode 13 of “Shooting Stars” will be broadcasted on June 3 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
