While the production of Season 2 of the TVING original series “Bargain” has been confirmed, the script is being prepared in earnest.
OSEN reported on March 29th, the production team of “Bargain” has been discussing the production of season 2 since the end of last year, and they are discussing a detailed storyline.
TVING’s original drama “Bargain” (Written by Jeon Woo Seong, Choi Byung Yoon, and Kwak Jae Min and directed by Jeon Woo Seong ) featuring Park Joo Young (Jeon Jong Seo), Noh Hyung Soo (Jin Seon Kyu), and Go Geuk Ryeol (Jang Ryul) who are trapped in a building collapsed by an earthquake, and each of them starts a risky deal to seize the last chance and fights madly.

An official from “Bargain” told OSEN, “The actors are positively discussing appearing in Season 2 because it was a project that they enjoyed filming.”
Based on director Lee Choong Hyun’s short film “The Ransom” (2015), the drama “Ransom 1” expands the narrative and characters. Season 2 is also expected to be written by director Jeon Woo Sung.
In Season 2, the stories of major characters such as Park Joo Young, Noh Hyeong Soo, and Go Geuk Ryeol, who came out of the collapsed building, will unfold.
Another official said, “The production team is currently talking about the production of season 2,” adding, “The story is not yet complete, so I don’t know how it will go, but in season 2, new characters that were not in the previous episode will be added.”
“Bargain”, which was released in October of last year, recorded the highest viewership ever among TVING original series, and was highly popular, ranking first in the number of weekly paid subscription contributors to TVING for two consecutive weeks.
“Bargain”, was invited to the Cannes International Series Festival held this year in the feature film competition section. The 10 nominees in the competition category will compete for the best series, music, screenplay, and actor awards. Jeon Jong Seo and Jin Seon Kyu will attend the Cannes International Series Festival.
