“The Outlaws 2” Garners More Than 1 Million Moviegoers + Sets Record As The Biggest Opening Since COVID-19

“The Outlaws” (AKA “The Roundup”) starring Ma Dong Seok and Son Seok Gu is doing great at the Korean box office!

On May 20, the Korean Film Council revealed that the day before, “The Outlaws 2” remained No. 1 at the box office and officially garnered more than one million moviegoers. The total number of moviegoers now is 1,016,693.

In addition, the day that “The Outlaws 2” was released, it set the record for the best opening since the start of COVID-19 at the Korean box office.

“The Outlaws 2” is a movie that depicts the thrilling crime-fighting operation of the legendary detective Ma Seok Do (Ma Dong Seok) and his squad to catch the strongest villain Kang Hae Sang (Son Seok Gu). It is the highly-awaited sequel of the hit 2017 movie “The Outlaws.”
