“The Devil Judge” has premiered on the weekend and its already doing so well!
“The Devil Judge” premiered on July 3. The drama is set in a dystopian reality where the public can participate in the sentencing of criminals on trials. It is led by Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung, and GOT7’s Jinyoung.
According to Nielsen Korea, “The Devil Judge” episode 1 scored an average nationwide rating of 5.6%, while “The Devil Judge” taking first place in its time slot across all channels—even including public broadcast networks among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49.
While “The Devil Judge” episode 2 scored slightly lower with an average of 5.1%. It remained first place in its time slot across all cable channels among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49.
Meanwhile, MBN’s “Bossam: Steal the Fate” episode 19 scored 9.4% while episode 20 scored 9.8%. Not only was the last episode the highest for the series thus far but it also achieved the highest viewership ratings of any drama in MBN history.
