The cast of the upcoming film “Broker” will depart to France to attend this year’s Cannes International Film Festival!

As a result of OSEN coverage on May 4, it was announced that the cast for the upcoming film “Broker” will depart to France for this year’s Cannes International Film Festival on May 24.

“Broker” is an upcoming film directed by Japanese director Koreeda Hirokazu, it is the first-ever Korean film to be made by a Japanese director. The film depicts the unexpected special journey surrounding baby boxes. It stars Song Kang Ho, Kang Dong Won, Bae Doona, IU, and Lee Joo Young.

“Broker” has entered the competition section of the 75th Cannes International Film Festival, it will be participating in various events held locally with the directors and production teams.

Bae Doona, who plays detective Soo Jin in the film, will depart from the United States to attend the festival. However, there is a high possibility that she won’t be able to attend due to her filming schedule.

The Cannes Film Festival will be held in Cannes, southern France, from May 17 to May 24.

“Broker” is set to be released on June 8.
