Earlier today, Song Hye Kyo and Song Joong Ki agencies released a joint statement revealing that the two will be getting married on the 31st of October.
Many fans have claimed that they knew the two were seeing each other because of how amazing their chemistry on the set of “Descendants Of The Sun” was.

A close acquaintance who knew both hallyu stars opened up to news outlets and spoke fondly of how the romance between the two started.
According to the close acquaintance, they had feelings for each other before “Descendants Of The Sun” had even aired, “Descendants Of The Sun” is a pre-produced drama that began shooting in July of 2015.
The drama has aired early 2016, back then the close acquaintance revealed:
“Early last year, Song Joong Ki used to secretly bring snacks to the set of Song Hye Kyo photoshoot. It was before the drama even aired, he made the staff wonder why he even came.”
Another close acquaintance revealed that the two used to sometimes accompany each other when they had schedule overseas, the source also revealed that:
“Song Hye Kyo was actually hesitant to date a celebrity “again”, but Song Joong Ki persisted until he won her heart.”
The acquaintance explained more about their relationship saying:
“Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo didn’t try so hard to hide their relationship from people around them. They told the people they trusted most first, but if someone asked about it they didn’t deny or affirm.”
The acquaintance explained the real reason the two didn’t reveal their relationship to the public so soon was because they wanted to tell their fans about their relationship first.
They didn’t want their fans to hear about it through media.
Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo’s agency had denied that the actress is pregnant following sudden marriage announcement.
