Song Joong Ki’s agency has denied the reports stating that the actor has participated in an audition organized by BBC saying it was a simple meeting.
On December 28, Song Joong Ki’s agency, High Zium Studio said, “Song Joong Ki had a meeting with a BBC official.”
Earlier in the day, a media outlet reported that Song Joong Ki participated in an audition for a drama organized by the BBC, a British public broadcaster. In response, the agency said it was a meeting with related parties, not for participating in the audition.
The agency said that Song Joong Ki did not have the meeting to acquire any project but it was a meeting held in a rough form. In addition, they emphasized that Song Joong Ki does not have any restrictions over expanding to work overseas and can work on overseas projects if good work is offered to him.
Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki appeared in JTBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “Reborn Rich,” which concluded its run successfully on December 25. Song Joong Ki also received a lot of attention the next day by acknowledging his romantic relationship with his British girlfriend.
