Song Joong Ki Leaves For Hungary With Wife Katie Louise Saunders To Shoot His Upcoming Netflix film

Actor Song Joong Ki has departed to Hungary to film his new film with his wife Katie Louise Saunders.

On February 16, Song Joong Ki left for Hungary through Incheon International Airport’s second passenger terminal to film his upcoming Netflix movie “My Name Is Loh Ki Wan.” His wife Katie accompanied him. On that day, Song Joong Ki entered the airport wearing a training suit. Katie was dressed casually and was carrying her dog in her arms. The diamond ring on her fourth finger on the left also drew attention.

The movie depicts the meeting, separation, and love between Loh Ki Wan (played by Song Joong Ki), a North Korean defector who arrived in Belgium with the last hope of his life, and Mari (played by Choi Sung Eun), who doesn’t have a reason to live. It is based on Jo Hae Jin’s novel “Meeting Loh Ki Wan,” which is the original story. It is the commercial film debut film directed by Kim Hee Jin of the short film ‘MJ’ (2013). Jo Han Chul, Kim Sung Ryeong, Lee Il Hwa, Lee Sang Hee, and Seo Hyun Woo will also appear.

Song Joong Ki announced on the fan cafe on January 30 that he had registered his marriage with Katie. It has been about four years since he divorced actor Song Hye Kyo in 2019. Katie is pregnant. It is reported that the two have been living in one family house in Itaewon-dong worth 20 billion won($15,000,000) since last spring. He said, “I vowed to share my life with Katie. She has a good heart and has lived her life passionately. She is respectfully wise and wonderful. Thankfully, a precious life has come to us.” His agency HighZium Studio said, “They will also hold a separate wedding ceremony, but no specific timing has been decided. They will live their married life in and out of Korea and the UK.”
