JTBC has unveiled a new action-packed video teaser of the highly anticipated upcoming drama “Reborn Rich” featuring the main actors.
“Reborn Rich” is based on the hit web novel of the same name and tells the story of a man named Yoon Hyun Woo [Song Joong Ki] who was killed after being framed for embezzlement by a chaebol family, a family he’s served for over 10 years. He gets reborn as the youngest son named Jin Do Joon of the chaebol family [Sunyang Group] and plans revenge by gradually taking over their empire.
On October 28, JTBC unveiled the action-packed teaser that shows the moments that led up to Yoon Hyun Woo’s untimely death. He works hard to serve the Sunyang group but gets murdered when he’s ordered to retrieve assets from overseas.
After his death, he goes back in time to 1987 and finds he’s reborn as Jin Do Joon, the youngest grandson of the family that betrayed him. He notes that someone among them is the one responsible for his death.
The drama is written by Kim Tae Hee of “Sungkyunkwan Scandal” and “A Beautiful Mind,” and it will be directed by Jung Dae Yoon of “She Was Pretty” and “W.”
Previously, JTBC confirmed the drama will air 3 times a week, each Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
“Reborn Rich” will premiere on November 18 at 10:30 p.m. KST.
