Song Ji Hyo Files Complaint Against Former Agency’s CEO For Embezzlement

Actress Song Ji Hyo is taking legal action.

Recently, Song Ji-hyo’s side filed a complaint against the former agency CEO of Uzurocks s for embezzlement. Through her legal representative, Song Ji-hyo filed a complaint against Park, the CEO of Uzurocks, at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul, on charges of violating the Act on Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes (embezzlement).

In the complaint, Song Ji Hyo’s side claimed that “CEO Park received advertising model contract fees amounting to over 900 million won and transferred the funds to the company’s account, which he later withdrew or transferred for personal use,” and they argued that he embezzled over 1.2 billion won.

A representative from Song Ji Hyo’s side stated, “Without taking legal action, there were no signs of this matter being resolved, so Song Ji Hyo made the decision. She decided to prevent further wrongdoing by CEO Park and to prevent direct and indirect victims from suffering.”

In April of 2023, Song Ji Hyo revealed she left the agency and will be filing a lawsuit for Unpaid Settlements, In response to the reports regarding Song Ji Hyo, the agency admitted to mistakes and said the actress has left the agency. Around mid-May, Dispatch released a scathing report detailing further allegations against the agency and their treatment of their employees.

In October of 2022, Song Ji Hyo signed an exclusive contract with Uzurocks and became close with fellow “Running Man” member Ji Suk Jin. Uzurocks is home to stars such as Ji Suk Jin, Lee Hyun Woo, and more.
