The agency of actress Song Hye Kyo has also addressed reports of her departure from the highly anticipated upcoming drama starring Han So Hee.
The news of the cancellation of her appearance drew attention when it was reported on the morning of the 17th of May by a media outlet. In response to the report, UAA, stated, “It’s difficult to confirm (the casting falling through). We have asked the production company for clarification.”
Previously, a representative from Han So Hee’s agency, 9ATO Entertainment, stated, ‘We also learned about the news of Han So Hee’s drop out from ‘The Price of Confession’ through the article. We are currently in the process of verifying the details.”
There also seems to be confusion with the production companies too as they’ve issued unclear statements.
Studio Dragon, which was involved in the production, stated, “Matters related to the casting are being handled by our co-producer, Production H. We have no knowledge about it,” and said to ask Production H for more information.
The parent company of Production H, SLL, said, “Since the responsible person at Production H is unclear, SLL is conveying the official stance regarding ‘The Price of Confession.’ We are currently trying to understand what happened.”
‘The Price of Confession’ had raised expectations with its luxurious casting, including actresses Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee. In particular, it became widely known that they would appear together as they posted each other’s photos on social media.
