Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum have been previously offered to lead the upcoming drama “Boyfriend,” it has been revealed that their potential return to the small screen might air on tvN.
In response, a source from tvN revealed that they’re still in talks for the drama and no final decision has been made yet.
“Boyfriend,” tells the story of a woman who appears to have it all and an ordinary man who’s the complete opposite, it begs the question of whether its difficult to give up money and honor in exchange for a normal lifestyle.
Song Hye Kyo has been offered the role of Cha Soo Hyun, whose father occupied various political roles throughout his life, her family forced her to marry a chaebol son as soon as she graduated from college, but she eventually filed for divorce.
Park Bo Gum has been offered the role of Kim Jin Hyuk, an ordinary guy who works various part-time jobs while searching for a full-time one. With the money he collected from his part-time jobs, he begins a journey he has been planning for a year.
The drama is set to air in December; both actors haven’t confirmed their appearance in the drama yet.
