Son Suk Ku Returns To Theatre With “Army On The Tree”

Actor Son Suk Ku, who has been active in dramas and movies, returns to the theatre stage.

On December 16th, Son Suk Ku’s agency, Saetbyeoldang Entertainment, said to TVreport, “It is true that Son Suk Ku has decided to appear in “Army on the Tree”. We are preparing it for the first half of next year.”

The actor said, “There was no particular reason why I decided to appear in the play, but I decided to do it because I liked the work.”

“Army on the Tree” is a work by the late Japanese writer Hisashi Inoue, and tells the story of a veteran soldier and a recruit who spent two years together climbing a tree to avoid enemy attacks during the war. Son Suk Ku plays the role of the recruit in “Army on the Tree”.

Son Suk Ku is an actor who started acting through plays. He received a lot of attention last April by playing Mr. Gu in the JTBC drama “My Liberation Notes”. He also starred in the film “Outlaws 2”, portraying the cruel villain Kang Hae Soo, showing a wide acting spectrum.

Receiving attention as a ‘trend actor’, he meets viewers at Disney+’s “Big Bet”, which will be released on the 21st. Following this, he confirmed his appearance in Netflix’s new film “Murder Difficult” and is reportedly considering appearing in the movie “Comment Unit.”
